Happy birthday

Hi everyone
this was a card inspired by sue wilson ( particrafts) i used a 8x8 square card i used a  white card which i pieced around the edge using a tim holtz ruler, i then embossed a strip of white card  using valor m- bossing folder by spellbinders, then using another piece of white card  i then used layered elegant swirls spellbinders die to cut out the centre of my card, it will stay attached to the card becauce it has only one cutting edge around the top, i then taped arounded the back of the elegant swirl to keep if fixed in to place,  i then cut two corners from the decorative butterfly/ borders from spellbinders in a dark red card, i then made a flower using spiral blossom three and then matted and layered it all together i added a thin strip  of red card under my white organza ribbon just to make the ribbon pop then i added some hat pin and a bow and a gem to the centre of the flower
