Golden Wedding

Hi, today's card i made for my parents-in-laws  


I started with a blank card, I matted and layered with white and gold card, then i embossed a piece of white card using venetian m-bossing folder by spellbinders, then i cut 2 venetian boarder out of gold mirri card and 2 venetian motifs out of gold mirri card and 2 venetian accents. I stamped my sentiment using versa mark and gold embossing powder. I printed out a picture of my parents-in-law on their wedding day, cut them out using a circle spellbinders added them to the venetian accents and mounted them on the front of the card, Added the boarders and some white organza ribbon added a bow and embelishment. They loved the card and now it's been framed. thank you for stopping by. x

Happy Birthday


Hi, this was a quick card using a Hunkydory topper.

I started with a 8 x 8 card blank, matted and layered some silver mirri board, embossed a piece of white card using a spellbinders m-bossing folder leaving a space at the bottom for my stamped greeting , i then decoupaged the Hunkydory topper, added a green ribbon and bow and added a embelishment, Ilove the Hunkydory topper's. thank you x

Happy 50th Birthday


Hi this is a card i made for a friend's birthday,

I started with a 8 x 8 square card blank matted and layered some white card added cosmic shimmer black pearls and set them aside so they could dry . Then i pricked around the edge of a 7 x 7 square white card  using a Tim Holtz ruler, I then cut out aperture using label one (second largest one ), then i cut out the largest decorative label one using black card , then cut out the inside using label one dies to make a frame and glued it on to the white card over the aperture so it made a nice framed aperture , then i cut the next size down of label one dies in silver mirri card. I then cut the second largest die from decorative label one in black card. I then stamped my sentiment onto white card and cut it out using label one dies. Then i cut out four Moroccan accents dies and arranged them around the sides of the label one in silver mirri card and glued then in place. Then i matted and layered them all together. I then made a flower using nestabilities blossom five, i cut three of the second largest dies out of a black and white double sided paper, spritz the paper with water then screw them up and use a brad to put them together and then leave to dry ( don't over wet your paper you only need a small amount of water) .  then i cut out two flourishes out of  sliver mirri paper using venetian motifs. then i used a black shear organza ribbon made a bow and used a couple of stick pins (creative expressions ) and an embellishment in the centre of the bow then i put it all together .

Mum


Hi, this is a card i made for my Mum's Birthday .

I started with a 8 x 8 card blank, then i embossed some white card using the flora m-bossing folder from spellbinders, I used a topper from Hunkydory for the lady's range ( It was a block buster a few months ago on create and craft ). Then i cut a boarder and a large oval and a smaller oval out of a pale green patterned card stock from Hunkydory. The ovals are Spellbinders floral ovals and the boarder is Spellbinders decorative butterfly/boarder, I then added a white organza shear ribbon bow a couple of stick pins ( creative expressions ) and  an embelishment to finish it off i hope you like it x

In Sympathy

Hi, this card is a card nobody likes to make but we all need them at one time or another xxx
I started with a 8x8 card blank, I had a nice grey and cream paper and i wanted like a celtic cross but i didnt have one so i made my own using spellbinder die. I used a cross from shapeabilites crosses two and the second largest splendid circles. I cut them from silver mirri card, I cut a couple of flourishes from venetian motifs and i cut three flower blossoms ( blossoms 1,3 4 ). I matted and layered black card and added some cosmic shimmer pearls around the edge. I let them set and then added my mats and layers using the paper and silver shimmer card, I stamped my sentiment from creative expressions then added the flowers and flourishs.

Friendship

Hi sorry it's been a while i have not been too well,
 This card was inspired by Sue Wilson and Spellbinders .
 I used an 8x8 card blank i also used a pretty pink checked paper cut to 7 1/2x7 1/2 then i cut the second largest spellbinders lable 28 out of white card and inked it with victorian velvet. I cut the large square out of the asian motifs with white card and embossed it then  stamped a sentiment (creative expressions friendship sentiments). I then cut it out using lables 27 the second largest die, inked it with victorian velvet,  also cut two boarders out using white card using asian accents and i cut one venetian motifs. I also inked that with victorian velvet then cut it in half and tucked it behind the lable 28 on the long sides,  then twisted the asian motifs so it looked like a diamond then  added the lable 27. I then added the boarders and some shear ribbon which i coloured with the same ink, added a bow and then added some pink pearl and a little accent from asian accents.
 I really enjoyed making this card i hope you like it too,

Love is in the Air



Hi another card inspired by sue wilson (particraft) using a 8x8 card blank, i cut a white card slightly smaller than my base card i then cut out the centre of the card using the largest labels twenty four spellbinders die and i also cut a decorative oval window out of white card, i embossed a small piece of white card to fit on the back of the card where we cut the label die out using m-boss abilities folder enchanted , i stamped my sentiment and embossed it with clear embossing powder and then using the four size die from labels twenty four , i then cut and embossed two edges using the scallop edge abilities die and postage stamp die, i then i cut out a spiral bloom three out of blue card , i used comic shimmer pearls around the edge of the card and let them dry. i then matted and layered the card adding the embossed card to the back of the auteur and added the boarders and then the dark blue ribbon , then i added the decorative oval window and my sentiment i added a double bow and two hat pins and a gem to the centre of the flower then the finishing touches i put some cosmic shimmer pearls on the boarder

Black & Cream

Hi another card made using spellbinders i think i might be addicted to these dies , i used a 8x8 card blank and matted some black card on top then i cut three moroccan borders out of black card  and then two out of the cream card i then embossed a piece of cream card using the regal m-bossabilities i cut eight corner accents i also cut a cream splendid circle then i cut a larger circle out of black card and embossed it in the regal m- bossabilitie  i stamped a sentiment on to the cream circle and embossed it with clear  powder i then started to put it all together i put a black border on each side keepin the third one for later and then added the two cream borders to the bottom of the cream card  then on to the black circle i added the corner accents all round the circle i then cut up the spare black border and glue them with wet glue in between the cream corner accents and then mounted the spiral circle with double sided foam tape onto the black circle then added a black shear organza and polka dot ribbon tied a bow added two hat pin a a button from my craft box

for this card i used a 8x8 card i inspired by the moroccan dies from spellbinders, i cut four boarders out of white card then i cut eight corner accents and i used this teal coloured card from hunkydory (i love this card its the adorable scorable card) i then embossed a 6x6 square of teal card with lovingly baroque
embossing folder by couture creations i then cut a large lables twenty-four out of white card and cut the third lables die out of the centre and then stamped my sentiment and cut this with the fourth die from the lables set i also cut a flower using the spiral blossom three die i then started to mat and layer my card together starting with my base card i layered teal card and then white card on this layer i used the cosimic shimmer pearl glue to my the pearls around the edge then let them dry ( i did this when i was planning my card so they would dry by the time i put them together because you dont want to squash them which i have done on a few occasions ) i then cut another piece of teal card  and then another white card  then i added my embossed card and added the boarder all round the four edges then added the large lable and added the corners to the four corners and i used a wet glue ( i use cosmic shimmers dry clear glue ) then added the last corners to the sides hiding the arms behind the back then added my sentiment to the centre and i had teal  ribbon that matched my card stock ( the ribbon is from creative expressions ) i double up my bow and added two  hat pins and a flower .

this was a card inspired by sue wilson ( particrafts) i used a 8x8 square card i used a  white card which i pieced around the edge using a tim holtz ruler, i then embossed a strip of white card  using valor m- bossing folder by spellbinders, then using another piece of white card  i then used layered elegant swirls spellbinders die to cut out the centre of my card, it will stay attached to the card becauce it has only one cutting edge around the top, i then taped arounded the back of the elegant swirl to keep if fixed in to place,  i then cut two corners from the decorative butterfly/ borders from spellbinders in a dark red card, i then made a flower using spiral blossom three and then matted and layered it all together i added a thin strip  of red card under my white organza ribbon just to make the ribbon pop then i added some hat pin and a bow and a gem to the centre of the flower
